Works Manager

About the vacancy

Our railcivils team is seeking a Works Manager to help with the delivery of multiple projects across the Kent, Sussex, Wessex, and East Anglia routes.

This opportunity would suit a proactive candidate with rail/construction experience. PTS (Personal Track Safety) and Leadership experience is a MUST!

You will be providing support across a range of projects at various sites across the Kent, Sussex, Wessex & East Anglia region/routes. Works will include all aspects of Civils Minor Works to Arches, Bridges, Tunnels and Earthworks.

As Works Manager, you will need to be the first point of call for grounds teams and contractors and work closely with all project managers.

Ideal candidates will have:

  • CSCS, PTS, SSTS and SMTS
  • Previous experience of supervising rail/construction works
  • Have a good understanding of Health, Safety and Environmental practices
  • Self-motivated and a team player

Salary: DOE - Competitive. Company vehicle supplied (for commuting and business use)

Working Hours: 40 hours per week, to be worked Monday - Friday, 8am - 5pm with 1hr unpaid break. This role will require some out of hours working, including at weekends and evenings.
