We have seen recent significant growth as a Principal Contractor and Framework Contractor to Network Rail and are looking for a Senior SSOW & Possession Planner to lead our planning team and help us provide a service that is second to none.

We are seeking an experienced SSOW and Possession Planner to join Coombes in a Senior SSOW & Possession Planner role, on a full time, permanent basis. This is a new role introduced as a result of Coombes’ continued growth.
The successful candidate will be experienced in works planning and skilled in people management, as this role will require you to lead, manage and develop a small team of Possession Planners to effectively produce, collate, distribute and brief on SWPs. This is also a hands-on role, where you’ll be required to produce accurate SWP’s in line with internal and external standards. You will utilise your excellent communication skills to advise on SSOW requirements at external client planning meetings, developing strong relationships along the way.
As Senior SSOW & Possession Planner, you will work closely with our delivery managers and the wider team to ensure all SSOW requirements are understood and met both in the planning stages and when delivering on site.
