About the vacancy

COOMBES require an experienced IT Technician to support our busy offices in Petersfield on a full time, permanent basis.  

 

As IT Technician you will be the first port of call for all IT issues across the business. You’ll be adept at troubleshooting, diagnosing and resolving IT issues, whilst delivering excellent customer service. The successful candidate will also provide technical support to colleagues at all levels, on the use of hardware, software and internal systems.

 

Other key duties include installing, configuring and maintaining software and hardware components of computer and network systems.  Our new IT Technician will also support the IT Manager with new starter processes, upgrading systems and carrying out infrastructure improvements.

 

The ideal candidate will have experience in a similar role with strong knowledge of Microsoft 365, Windows, Google Workspace, Mac OS, domain controller, DNS and AD. You’ll have the ability to prioritise a changing workload and be an effective communicator with the ability to relay complex information in layman’s terms.

 

This role requires you to be proactive and responsive in your approach and, as an integral member of the team, demonstrate initiative in problem solving.  You will take pride in your work, complete tasks to a high standard, in line with COOMBES’s ethos and values.

Salary: £26-28,000

Working Hours: 37.5 hours per week, to be worked Monday - Friday, 9:00am – 5:00pm.
